Mobile Map Experience

Mobile Map Experience

On phones, the interactive map switches from the desktop layout to a native-style mobile interface. The map fills the screen while the tools you use most are reachable with one thumb.

Overview

The mobile map keeps every capability of the desktop map, but rearranges the controls so they feel like a native app:

  • A top project pill shows the current project and opens navigation.
  • A row of action pills opens Layers, Alerts, and Filters.
  • A floating button column on the right gives quick access to 3D terrain, your location, and the AI assistant.
  • A bottom tab bar switches between Map, Tasks, Alerts, and More.
  • Detail panels open as bottom sheets you can drag up and dismiss.

The desktop experience is unchanged — the mobile interface only appears on small screens.

Top bar

  • Project pill — shows the active project name. Tap it to open the navigation drawer (team switcher, Workspace, Map, filters, and account).
  • Layers — opens the satellite imagery panel: show/hide the imagery layer, toggle 3D terrain, pick an index type, set cloud coverage, and review the selected image.
  • Alerts — opens the alerts list, with an unread badge.
  • Filters — opens asset filters (search, visibility, type, status, date), with a badge showing how many filters are active.

Quick-action buttons

A floating column on the right edge, above the tab bar:

  • 3D terrain — toggles the 3D relief on the map.
  • My location — centers the map on your current position.
  • Assistant — opens the AI map assistant.

Bottom tab bar

  • Map — returns to the full map view and closes any open sheet.
  • Tasks — toggles task markers on the map.
  • Alerts — opens the alerts sheet (with unread badge).
  • More — opens the navigation drawer.

Bottom sheets

Layers, Filters, Alerts, and detail panels (asset details, alert details, compliance) open as bottom sheets. Drag the handle to resize, or swipe down to dismiss. The map stays visible behind the sheet.

Language and direction

All labels are translated (English, Portuguese, Arabic) and the layout mirrors correctly for right-to-left languages.
